The works exhibited in the spaces of Impex can be perceived as the latest stages of Hajnal Németh's Berlin projects. Characteristically of all the presented artworks, sounds, images or spaces of inherent and autonomous meaning are coupled with lyrics of pop hits (quoted and invented). Nevertheless, the interplay of images and spaces in these installations not only endows them with plasticity, but it inspires a radically new interpretation of quoted fragments from the lyrics of David Bowie, John Cage or R.E.M songs. Ultimately, as the visitor of the exhibition will discover, it is not the same to 'loose our religion' in a professional sound studio or in the cage of a laboratory mouse...
