Katarina Šević (1979, Novi Sad/Serbia), lives and works in Budapest.

Graduated at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, Intermedia department.
In her work she utilizes and integrates diverse strategies of observation and communication, testing the interrelations of public/private realms. She is interested in research methods and consciousness-raising practices through questioning her immediate environment, social status and relations.

She has been active in diverse collaborative and organizational projects including Dinamo, Impex, Die Planung…

She has exhibited internationally (Studio Gallery, Budapest; Apexart, New York; Škuc Gallery, Ljubljana; Salon of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade; Kunstlerhaus Bethanien , Berlin; CIC, Cairo… )
